Ahmad Massoud: Ashraf Ghani's escape caused Afghanistan to fall into the trap of extremism
Ahmad Massoud, the leader of the Afghan National Resistance Front, said in a recent statement that Ashraf Ghani's escape with the money of the people and the surrender of the government to the Taliban was an example of national treason that led to the collapse of the regime and falling in to the extremism.
At the same time, Ahmad Massoud welcomed the "reasonable and appropriate positions of the world countries in not recognizing the Taliban and emphasizing the formation of an inclusive government in Afghanistan" and said: "This policy is expected to continue with determination."
