Many women and girls are exposed to sexual violence in Somalia.
In 2021, Somalia witnessed a catastrophic increase in the number of vulnerable women and girls exposed to Gender-Based Violence risks. Natural disasters and armed conflicts resulted in multiple displacements, forced evictions, and the destruction of livelihoods, health facilities, service sites and schools.
Gender-based injuries occur mainly due to lack of proper training in a specific area.
To deal with this serious problem, the most important element is to create a suitable educational environment.
Women and children who are exposed to violence face serious harm.
Mental, physical, financial, family, etc. injuries are seriously visible to victims of gender-based injuries.
In order to deal with this problem, we need to equip a suitable educational environment to prevent gender-based harm for later ages.
Also, to solve the problems of the survivors, we must support them permanently by creating a medical and hygienic environment and providing food needs.
Also, establishing care centers to take care of these people can seriously protect them from many dangers.
