IS attacked northern Syria

For the fourth day, clashes between Islamic Fighters (IS) and the Kurds forces (SDF) in northern Syria continue.

According to the BBC, in the aftermath of the IS attack on a prison in the northern Syrian city of Hasakah, Kurdish forces met with fierce resistance, during which nearly two hundred and ten people were killed.

Seven of those killed were civilians.

It should be noted that in recent months, IS jihadist forces in northern Syria and Iraq have launched new attacks. Dozens of Kurdish forces and the Iraqi army were killed earlier this year during attacks.
