(UNICEF) says more than 460 children have died in Afghanistan in the first six months of this year as violence escalates.
Announcing the figures, UNICEF called the current situation of children in Afghanistan worrying.
"We are concerned about children who have died as a result of this year's explosive devices," said Cementa Mort, UNICEF official. "Even the death of a child is very sad, every citizen should try to protect children."
Currently, the economic crisis and hunger are threatening the children of Afghanistan.
The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) has previously warned that at least one million Afghan children are at risk of death from acute malnutrition without immediate treatment.
After the fall of Afghanistan to the Taliban, the country's economy collapsed and poverty spread.
