Kobani Church opens on the birthday of our Lord.
For years, the civil war in Syria had provided a difficult situation for the people of this country. Kobani, the city that suffered the most damage from this war, was practically completely demolished.
The urban infrastructure and the vital resources of the people were destroyed.
Famine, dehydration, lack of livelihood facilities were the least sufferings that people suffered.
Meanwhile, the Covid-19 crisis added to the sufferings of the people of this city. Lack of access to pharmaceuticals and medical facilities was a great danger that threatened the people.
AVC Father's Heart organization was present with the people of this city from the very first days of the crisis.
Provision of basic livelihood needs, food and water, medicine for the wounded from the war were among the needs that this organization covered in the first days.
This organization then proceeded to establish a treatment clinic and a dialysis center in this city, which later became one of the best and most important centers to fight against Covid-19 throughout Syria with the arrival of the Corona crisis.
Along with all these activities, this organization tried to introduce the people of this region to the message of the salvation of Jesus Christ.
With God's grace, the body of the AVC Father's Heart Church is expanding day by day. For this reason, this organization decided to build the central church of Kobani again after a hundred years.
Kobani Church is a project that was built with the help and cooperation of AVC Swiss in order to revive the central church of Kobani after one hundred years.
This project, after many hardships of these people and after decades, is practically a gift given to this suffering land by our Lord Jesus Christ.
While wishing the New Year to all believers around the world, we wish God's blessings and His shalom for everyone who contributed to the completion of this project.
