UNICEF warns of plight of children in Afghanistan.
The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) has once again warned of the plight of children in Afghanistan.
(UNICEF) has warned in Twitter that the living conditions of Afghan children have deteriorated over the past year due to war, drought and the outbreak of nineteen-year-old disease in Afghanistan.
UNICEF added: "These problems have led to an unprecedented humanitarian emergency in Afghanistan."
The United Nations Children's Fund says millions of Afghan children also need essential services, including basic health care, polio, measles, nutrition, education, protection, shelter, water and sanitation.
UNICEF added that an urgent budget is needed to ensure that Afghanistan's healthcare system does not collapse. also estimates that by the end of this year, the number of children with acute malnutrition will reach 3.2 million.
About one million Afghan children will be at risk of death, according to the United Nations Children's Fund.
