Christian: The forbidden word in China

Christian: The forbidden word in China

Situation of Christians Quoted from a believer .

A member of the First Rain Covenant Home Church in Chengdu, while filling out an online feedback form on the Local Government's Public Security page, registered as a Christian on the relevant online form. then after he completed the steps, is faced with the message: "could not be sent. Imported content contains forbidden words »

This page, which is dedicated to the daily and online messages of the people regarding the expression of opinions and needs, has refused to send and confirm the content of the message of this Christian online and automatically.

The Christian stated in his report that he and other brothers and sisters in the church have been under constant surveillance, persecution, and repeated arrests for more than three years.

He, who did not want to be named, tried to get his voice heard to the Minister of Security online. He had asked for clear answers from the authorities regarding the recognition of the individual and private rights of Christians in China, and also asked the regional security system to respect their individual rights and issues.

Although in 2018, the police raided his private home, declared the Church of the Covenant of the Law illegal and ordered its closure, but he continues to serve in this area.

Since 2018, several people have been constantly monitoring their travels and activities. According to this Chinese believer, the government persecutes them many times, especially on Christian holidays and occasions, and with strict control, prevents these occasions, even if they are at home. Although they had filed a complaint with the Public Security Directorate, no case was filed against them.

"I am a law-abiding citizen and my main duty is to take care of my family and my three children, why do the police force me to be a socially unstable member?" The Christian believer said in his report. "The police do not expect me to give up my Christian faith, God has chosen me. Christians are the conscience of this society. We obey the law, we respect marriage, we value the family, and we are willing to have more children, and to raise them with our hearts according to God's will. It does not matter how much your people despise us. The more brothers and sisters in our church are imprisoned and tortured (Rev. Wang Yi for nine years), the more we are still willing to pray for your soul."
