Food crisis for children

According to the Save the Children Fund, one in three children in the world suffers from malnutrition, and every 15 seconds, one child dies from malnutrition.  Poverty, conflict, climate change and epidemics have led to the emergence of the most serious food crisis of the 21st century.

5.7 million children under the age of five are on the brink of starvation, more than 50 percent of which has increased since 2019.  The year in which (2019) the number of people suffering from food shortages reached its lowest level after 30 years of efforts by humanitarian organizations and the international community.
 But after 2019, this trend has been reversed and according to the organization, thousands of children will die if immediate action is not taken.
 The Covid epidemic, in particular, exacerbated existing vulnerabilities and exposed structural discrimination, inequality, and poverty-related deprivation and gender.  The Corona crisis has made people, especially children, more vulnerable to reversing humanitarian programs.
 In September 2015, the leaders of 193 countries signed an agreement to achieve 17 global goals for sustainable development, the second goal of which was to end hunger and achieve food security and improve sustainable agriculture by 2030.  .
 However, according to the organization, if no serious action is taken on the goal of sustainable development and achieving "zero hunger", this goal in 2030 will be very far from achievable.
