Migration of asylum seekers

The death toll from the sinking of a boat carrying refugees in the English Channel off the coast of France has risen to 27.
 Many asylum seekers have also been injured and the death toll is likely to rise.
 French Prime Minister Jean-Castex, who is in quarantine for coronary heart disease;  In a tweet, he described the sinking of the asylum seekers' boat as a "human tragedy."
 Some experts attribute the refugee crisis on the French-British border, which has intensified since the election, to the two countries' misguided policies and rivalries over interests.
 French Interior Minister Gerard Dermanen will travel to the northern city of Calais to investigate the incident.
 The issue of asylum has become an acute crisis between France and Britain on both sides of the English Channel since the election.
