Queen of England: The world needs God's love.

The Queen of England said in a message to the Lambeth Conference that the world is in dire need of God's love.

 The Lambeth Gathering is an annual meeting of the bishops of the Anglican Communion for prayer and reflection, fellowship and dialogue about the churches and world affairs.

The Queen, who is supreme governor of the Church of England, said in her message that the conference comes at a time of "great need for God's love - both in word and deed" for the world.

He also said that the world is witnessing a great challenge for bishops, clergy and lay people around the world, many of you serving in places where suffering, conflict and trauma are rampant.

He also stated: "It is comforting to me that you are doing this by the power of God."

In this message, the queen expressed her appreciation for the conference's focus on climate change.

"We also live at a time when the impacts of climate change threaten the lives and livelihoods of many people and communities, especially the poorest and those least able to adapt," he said.

He also said in his message: "Throughout my life, the message and teachings of Christ have been my guide and hope.

My sincere prayer is that you will be supported by faith in times of trial and encouraged by hope in times of despair.
